In Partnership with Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles, there will be a FREE citizenship application assistance clinic. Saturday, September 14, 2019, 9am-3pm Rosemead Community Center 3936 Muscatel Ave. Rosemead, CA 91770 Citizenship Eligibility: • You are at least 18 years old • You are a lawful Permanent Resident (proof of green card) • You have resided continuously in the U.S. for at least 5 years (or if you are married to a U.S. citizen, at least 3 years) • You have been physically present in the U.S. for at least 2.5 years (or are married to a U.S. citizen, at least 1.5 years) • You demonstrate good moral character • You demonstrate a basic knowledge of U.S. history and government as well as an ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English ❏ Green card and state-issued ID ❏ Filing fee: $725 (if under 75 years of age) or $640 (if 75 or older), payable to “U.S. Department of Homeland Security.” Note: If you are low-income, you may qualify for a full or partial fee waiver ❏ Passport(s) ❏ Arrest and court records (if any) ❏ Home addresses for the past 5 years ❏ Employer/school addresses and dates for the past 5 years ❏ Dates of all trips abroad for the past 5 years ❏ Spouse and children names, birth dates, A-numbers, and addresses Appointments are required.
